Series Format

Session 1: Understanding the Caregiving Workforce

We open with a data-driven look at what's driving the rise in caregiving demand, who today's caregivers are, and what it means for the future of work. You'll come away with a clear, evidence-based picture of how caregiving pressures affect well-being, productivity, and turnover — setting the stage for the sessions that follow.

Session 2: Policies and Benefits That Support  Caregivers

Using real corporate case studies, this session explores how organizations are building effective caregiver support — from flexible leave and backup care to financial assistance and employee communities. We'll cover how to assess what your workforce actually needs, and how policies can validate caregiver identity and reduce turnover risk. You'll also learn how to prepare managers for high-stakes, sensitive conversations, so you can retain your best people before they burn out or walk away.

Session 3: Building a Supportive Culture

The series closes with an interactive session where participants work in small groups on real organizational cases and leave with a personal action plan for putting Sessions 1 and 2 into practice at their own workplace.

About the Presenter:

Jennifer Sabatini Fraone, MSW, MBA, is the founder of JSF Consulting LLC. She currently serves as Principal Workforce Strategist for ELIXR Solutions, advising their CareConscious™ work with organizations. In her former role as Executive Director of the Boston College Center for Work & Family, she led the BC Workforce Roundtable, a network of more than 100 Fortune 500 HR leaders, spanning the boundaries between academic research and corporate practice over her 20-year tenure. She has presented at numerous industry and academic conferences, including WorldatWork Total Rewards, Working Mother/Seramount, NEHRA, NEEBC, and WFRN. Her commentary has appeared in the Boston Globe, Fortune, NPR, NECN, and Financial Times. Jennifer also taught a course on "Navigating Work and Life" to college seniors in the Boston College Capstone Program, helping students prepare for a fulfilling life beyond the university. Jennifer holds dual master's degrees (MSW and MBA) from Boston College and a BS in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University.
